The Church Without Walls International of Tulsa (CWOWI) is a world-wide house church network, founded in January of 2002 from John and Barb Fenn’s living room.

We define house church as practiced in the New Testament; Individuals and families of all ages and backgrounds meeting in homes on a regular basis to seek the Lord in prayer, worship, studying the Word, food and fellowship, and outreach. For more information please see our home page.

Our intention is to follow Paul’s practice in Acts and as seen in his letters in the New Testament. He traveled to (home based) churches, took others along, encouraged others within his network to travel independently to churches in the network, and of course wrote letters to stay in touch.

The modern equivalent is email, Webinars, personal travel, and so forth. Our goal is to develop relationships with those being led of the Lord in the same direction of home based and relationship based ‘church’ as we.

When Jesus appeared to John Fenn in November, 2001, he told him to “Start a house church and house church network. Structure it in such a way to facilitate the development of house churches around the world, and be a resource for them.”

Community Without Walls joins the other resources for those in the CWOWI network to promote healthy relationships in Christ, the sharing of resources including talents, skills, areas of interest, and generally provide a way for those on the same spiritual page to get to know one another.
